Somatic Healing Community Circle

A communally oriented, somatic approach to healing developmental, intergenerational, and societal wounding

Through inquiry-based mindfulness practice, group presence, and guided facilitation we will explore how our relational histories contribute to the challenges we face today. Leveraging my work as a somatic practitioner of twenty years, we will cultivate the group safety needed to renegotiate the once necessary survival strategies born from historical trauma. Through this process, we will melt the body armoring that became normal through the isolation and compartmentalization of an oppressive, hierarchical, hyper-gendered, and racialized modernity.

Every moment we are co-creating culture, one that further fragments or integrates (heals) the shadow of collective trauma. As we cultivate together a resonant, supportive, and communal container, the imprints of past trauma safely arise. From this carefully facilitated space of curiosity, mutual support, and presence to the here-and-now we develop new ways to track, bring into relations, and integrate our developmental, ancestral, and collective wounding. We can then anchor in new choices and new ways to respond, allowing for more autonomy, ease, boundary setting, clarity of life purpose, authentic leadership, and creative follow-through.

Six person closed group container
Sundays 12-4pm: May 12th, 19th, 26th, & June 2nd
Sliding Scale $120-$180

Structure: A typical group session may have 3-5 individually-focused processes. Even though not everyone has a process each meeting people report finding deep significance in witnessing, resonating, and often participating in another’s process. The sequence of processes may be decided by the group, the facilitator, or the emergent, organically arising flow of the field intelligence. If someone did not have a process in any particular group they will be invited if they wish to share in the next. Each process is based on the individual’s intention for healing.

Diversity: This group is open to adults of all ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and gender dimensions. Our differences are opportunities to see and be seen, to cultivate the vital unity of our differences.
